Subcontractors

Prequalify once. Bid with confidence.

Every subcontractor we work with carries the right license, insurance and safety record before we send a bid invitation. Here's exactly what that takes, and the forms to get it done.

Before you mobilize

No certificate on file, no work on site.

No subcontractor may begin work, deliver material, or enter a Beseler jobsite until an acceptable certificate of insurance and the required endorsement copies are on file. Work performed without coverage on file may be suspended and payment withheld until the deficiency is cured.

Prequalification

Minimum requirements at a glance.

  • Active Arizona ROC license in the classification(s) for the work you will perform
  • Insurance meeting or exceeding the limits below, with Beseler Building Team, LLC named as additional insured
  • Arizona workers' compensation coverage, or a signed Sole Proprietor Affidavit on file
  • Current, signed IRS Form W-9
  • A written safety program and no unresolved OSHA willful or repeat citations
  • No unresolved ROC complaints, liens, or judgments that would impair performance

No cost to prequalify

Completing the package doesn't obligate either party. Approved subcontractors are added to our bid list and notified of upcoming projects that match their trade, capacity, and service area.

Reviewed within 5 business days

We'll contact you if we need clarification, and confirm in writing once your firm is approved, approved with conditions, or declined.

Valid for 12 months

Notify us in writing within ten (10) days of any material change — a lapse in insurance, a license suspension, or a change in ownership. Certificates of insurance must be kept current while under contract with us.

Insurance

Coverage by project tier.

General Liability, Automobile Liability, and Workers' Compensation limits are the same at every tier — only the Umbrella / Excess requirement changes. All carriers must be rated A- VII or better by A.M. Best and authorized in Arizona. Higher limits may apply on an individual project and will be stated in the Work Authorization.
